Sheena Haywood-Brent and her husband Stephen bought the home, which is now almost 119 years old, and transported it in parts from its former site on the corner of Stanley St and Frankton Rd.
Since 2007 the couple have painstakingly restored the home, which is nearing completion.
The Christmas party has become an annual fixture on the calendar, giving residents the chance to see the home and also do some pre-Christmas shopping.
Mrs Haywood-Brent said it was an "amazing" weekend, with about 700 people coming through the doors.
"People were just blown away [with the restoration] - they were so generous; they just loved what we've done, which is super."
Several people also spent time reminiscing about the home - one visitor over the weekend used to be a milk boy and delivered supplies to Laurel Bank, while another woman in her 80s remembered playing with the children of the former owners, Eileen and Harold Overton, in the back yard, Mrs Haywood-Brent said.
