Innovative works by some of New Zealand's finest glass sculptors will be shown in Milford Galleries Queenstown from Saturday.

The Glass '09 exhibition features the latest works by Kiwi glass artists, including Mike Crawford, of Napier, Lee Brogan, of Northland, Claudia Borella and Lyndsay Patterson, both of Wanganui, and Auckland artists Stephen Bradbourne, Evelyn Dunstan, Sue Hawker, Robyn Irwin, Luke Jacomb, Katherine Rutecki, Emily Siddel and Simon Wards. The works are priced from $450 to $13,000.

"This show is likely to be something never before seen in Queenstown, because of its beauty and the nature of the work presented," gallery manager Maurice Watson said.

"New Zealand artists are not constrained by tradition, so our artists . . . push the limits."

• Glass '09 at Milford Galleries Queenstown, Church Lane. Opens Saturday, November 21, at 10am and runs until Wednesday, December 16.
