Fashion collections on show at Millbrook

Ten top New Zealand fashion designers will promote their ranges at Millbrook Resort next month.

New Zealand Fashion on Tour managing director Cameron Sneddon said designers featuring in the tour included moochi, Taylor, Robyn Mathieson, Goodness, Mondegreen, Millicent, Philippa & Alice, twoWORLDS, Mardle and My Boyfriend's Back.

Two showcases of the designer spring-summer 2014 collections would be presented during a dinner at the Millhouse on July 5 and 6, with four collections being shown each night in 15-minute time slots.

The event provided a chance to view collections in a ''very intimate'' way.

''Consumers often don't get the opportunity to view fashion from established designers so intimately.

''Our vision is to create an experience that allows people to get up close and personal with collections, in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.''

On July 5, Taylor and moochi would show their collections from 7pm, followed by Mondegreen and Mardle at 8pm and Robyn Mathieson's collections at 9pm.

The following night Philippa & Alice and Millicent would show from 7pm, with twoWORLDS and My Boyfriend's Back at 8pm, finishing with Goodness at 9pm.

A Millbrook spokeswoman said table bookings were essential.
