A different kind of runway will be used at Queenstown Airport when it hosts a fashion show to raise funds for the Wakatipu Youth Trust.

Seven women will model garments by Ricochet, Verge, Andrea Moore, Seduce, Loobie's Story and David Pond and other designer labels, in seven changes each, courtesy of Tania Carter, of dt carter in Remarkables Park Town Centre.

Up to 200 people will take their seats beside the catwalk in the airport's international departure lounge tomorrow at 8pm.

Stylist Adrian Barclay, of Venom hair salon, and winner of the Sydney Hair Expo New Zealand Hairdresser of the Year award, will entertain with his live on-stage work.

The show includes performances by the Queenstown School of Dance and young singer-guitarist Ruby Bain.

A silent auction includes an accommodation package at the Hilton Queenstown, a $500 Verge voucher at dt carter, and a Milford Sound Cruise for two.

The event is supported by D'Or Hairstylists, Shoes Unlimited, make-up artist Renee Little, DJ Wal, Eforer: Spa at Hilton and Terra Sancta Wines.

The Wakatipu Youth Trust supports and advocates for Wakatipu youth and is behind the Youth Booth. It started a satellite youth group in Glenorchy.

Ms Carter hosted a fashion show for the Queenstown Memorial Hall upgrade last year and raised $8000.

• Tickets cost $45 per person, including a complimentary glass of Terra Sancta wine and appetisers. They are available from dt carter.
