Adam Hall made a clean sweep of the gold medals at the Adaptive Snow Sports Festival at Cardrona Alpine Resort this week, winning the three men's elite events in the Disabled Snow Sports New Zealand National Championships.

The paralympian started his stellar run on Monday with a gold medal in the super giant slalom and followed up on Tuesday and yesterday with wins in the giant slalom and the slalom.

Hall said yesterday he was pleased with his performance and felt he was tracking better than expected.

"This course is in great condition, This is the best competitive skiing in the southern hemisphere I have had in two years," he said.

Cardrona adaptive snow sports coach Jamiee McCulloch has watched Hall progress over the past two years and said his skiing was the best he had seen.

"He is balanced, co-ordinated and has plenty of power. Adam is great to watch," McCulloch said.

The Adaptive Snow Sports festival continues until Friday with team races, lessons and an awards dinner on Friday night.
