Police were called to a brawl this afternoon in central Queenstown.

A call was made at 4.10pm after reports of a disorder on Beach St.

A police spokeswoman said there appeared to be a fight involving two people, but a small number of others tried to intervene.

"There do not appear to have been any serious injuries. Police are on scene speaking with those involved."
