The death of a person at a property in Hobart St on Saturday is not being treated as suspicious, police say.
Three ambulances, two police cars and a fire engine attended the incident at the central Queenstown address, which was reported to emergency services about 8.30pm.
A police media spokeswoman said the death had been referred to the coroner.
A St John spokesman said it was unable to provide information about the incident because it was a medical event that had occurred on private property.
