Ready to roll

Westport couple Ray and Glenda Karl and Ray’s sister Theresa (centre), of Hastings, spent three days riding to Queenstown for the Iron Run.

The trio arrived yesterday for the two-day festival, which has attracted Harley-Davidson owners and motorbike enthusiasts from throughout New Zealand.

After a St Patrick’s Day party at the Ice Arena last night, about 500 Harleys were expected to hit the highway for a "Thunder Run" to Arrowtown.
