It is time to enter the Gallagher and South Canterbury Chamber of Commerce Business & Community Excellence Awards.
New awards, new venue, new format; judges are booked and we are open for entries.
Now is the time to tell your story and enjoy your moment.
The South Canterbury Business Excellence Awards are free to enter and open to all businesses, community organisations, and individuals across our three districts.
Entering the awards is more than just a chance to win — it’s an opportunity to:
• Showcase your story — share what makes your business or organisation unique, from your people to your impact.
• Celebrate your team — recognise the hard work, innovation, and dedication behind your success.
• Build credibility and trust — being a finalist or winner strengthens your reputation with customers, partners, and the wider community.
• Gain valuable insights — the entry process encourages reflection on your performance, growth, and future direction.
• Boost your visibility — finalists benefit from strong promotion, including eligibility for the People’s Choice Award, a powerful marketing opportunity.
Whether you are a small start-up, an established business, or a community organisation, the awards are designed to be accessible, inclusive, and worthwhile for all.
The awards feature a streamlined online entry process, making it easy for organisations of any size to participate.
Entries close at noon, May 29, and the Gala Awards evening will be held on August 14, 2026, at Fraser Park — a fitting venue to celebrate excellence across South Canterbury.
