Three judges have been announced for a wearable arts competition in Milton next month.
The ''Design and Shine'' wearable arts competition will held in Milton's Coronation Hall on March 16, to raise money for the Tokomairiro Toy Library.
Hokonui Fashion Design and Awards executive producer Heather Paterson, Dunedin designer Richie Boyens, and Milton artist Veronica Fisher will judge the event.
Library president Danique Girvan said it was great to have such high-calibre judges. The competition is open to everyone and includes a youth section, for those aged 10 to 16.
The supreme winner will be awarded $1000, with $200 each for section winners.
At 5pm on March 15 a ''Kids on the Catwalk'' event will be held for those aged under 10 years, with two sections - individual and groups.
Tickets for the show go on sale today from Hammer Hardware, Milton. Email: tokotoylibrary @gmail.comfor entry forms.
