Woman injured in Clinton crash

South Otago Emergency services were called after a car crashed onto railway lines in Clinton yesterday evening.

A police spokeswoman confirmed they were called to the single car crash in Main Rd, Clinton at 9.04pm.

''The car had gone off the road and ended up on the train tracks,'' the spokeswoman said.

St John spokesman Gerard Campbell said the woman driving the vehicle, who was the sale occupant, was transported to Dunedin Hospital by an ambulance from Balclutha with minor injuries.
