The man arrested after a woman was found dead in an Invercargill motel room has pleaded not guilty to a charge of murder.
The 31-year-old man, who has interim name suppression, appeared by audiovisual link today at Invercargill High Court where he denied a charge of murdering Azalia Wilson.

A homicide investigation started after officers found the body of the 22-year-old women in a unit at a hotel in Waikiwi on November 17.

Justice Gerald Nation remanded him in custody until his next appearance on April.
