Multi-ethnic cricket well supported

Umpire Jibin Devasia keeps a close eye on the lines as Crazy Indian bowler Sukhwinder Singh bowls a yorker to an unsuspecting batsman during the Dunedin Multi-ethnic cricket festival at Forsyth Barr Stadium yesterday.

The Crazy Indians were one of about 10 teams from the wider ethnic community who had a fantastic time at the festival, which was organised by the Dunedin Multi-Ethnic Council, the Southern district police and the Otago Cricket Association.
