Southern United will play its first national women’s league game of the season under the roof at Forsyth Barr Stadium.
The team will host Auckland to open its six-match campaign on October 15.
It will signal a chance to get the season off to a strong start, with the team having lost its closest match — a 4-3 thriller — to Auckland last season.
From there it heads to Palmerston North to play Central, before returning home to play WaiBOP at Tahuna Park a week later. It then has a trip to Christchurch for its derby game against Canterbury United, before hosting the typically strong Northern side.
A bye follows, before it finishes its regular season against Capital in Petone.
From there the second and third-placed teams play off for the right to play the top-finishing team in the final on December 10.
It will be the last season the league is played in a single-round format before moving to home and away next year.
