Although Beijing has been disappointingly light on impromptu haka thus far, the Oly-Whites did us proud this morning.
Despite losing 1-0 to Belgium, thus extending their winless streak and going out of the competition, our skinny white boys saw fit to whip off their white shirts, expose their white bodies and haka for all they were worth.
[comment caption=Should the haka be banned from the Olympics?]The point of this exercise? Um, nobody seems quite sure but it doesn't take a psychology degree to see it as some sort of substitute for the podium.
We won nothing but we'll still get noticed...even if we do embarrass ourselves.
