1. Favourite rugby memory?

Getting to the First XV final in 2021 with Southland Boys’ High. We got there and then Finn Hurley got that drop kick over to win. And also beating Woodlands on their jubilee.

2. Hardest opponent?

Probably Semisi Tupou-Ta’eiloa. Just a very powerful ball-runner.

3. Which rugby player do you admire and why?

Jack Taylor. His workrate and preparation, and he’s a great lad. He’s doing very well.

4. What do you do to relax?

I like to go surfing a wee bit. I’m not very good at it, though. I’m from out Riverton way so I go out there a wee bit.

5. If Jackson Bevin is cooking, what are we eating?

Teriyaki chicken with rice.
