Hurricanes coach Mark Hammett has retained faith in the side that went down 19-17 to the Highlanders on Saturday, naming an unchanged lineup to meet the Blues at Eden Park on Friday night.

Ben May has been bracketed to start with Michael Bent at loosehead prop, with rookie Jeffery Toomaga-Allen named to start at tighthead prop _ he will likely line up against returning All Black prop Tony Woodcock.

Tusi Pisi will join the Hurricanes today for the first time this season after helping his Japanese side, Suntory Sungoliath, claim the All-Japan Championship and the Top League titles this season.

The Samoa first five-eighth has one Super Rugby cap to his name after previously coming off the bench for the Crusaders in 2007 against the Sharks.

The Hurricanes have made a decent start to their Super Rugby campaign, with two wins from four games.
