His performance was the highlight of the Highlanders First XV round when South Otago beat Gore 42-7.
Stark was the best player on the paddock as his side showed pace out wide to score six tries.
The other player to stand out was centre Matt Whaanga, who made some strong tackles and kicked six conversions from the six tries, two from the sideline.
The other key players in the South Otago team were lock Shea Robertson, who was a workhorse around the paddock, and loosehead prop Tyler Hammer.
South Otago plays Southland Boys' High School in the televised game at the Balclutha Showgrounds next Saturday.
Waitaki Boys' High School also scored six tries to beat Mount Aspiring College 36-5 in Oamaru.
The best Waitaki Boys' players were openside flanker Josh Miller, fullback Cameron McLay and No8 Don Lolo, who all scored tries. McLay broke through four tackles in scoring an impressive individual try just before halftime.
Otago Boys' High School had its first game in 17 days and was a bit rusty when it beat John McGlashan 41-15 at Littlebourne after leading 26-8 at halftime.
Two of its seven tries were scored by hard-running No8 Tui Katoa. Jermaine Ainsley had a strong game at tighthead prop and Matt Ellis was a busy halfback who made some telling tactical kicks into the box.
Key players for John McGlashan were locks Charlie Beckett and Stan South, flankers Oliver Povoas and Simon Clarke, fullback Angus Robertson and centre Chris O'Connell.
In other games, Southland Boys' beat Dunstan 46-12 and Menzies College beat Verdon College 57-0.
