Two treated after Leeston fire

Two people were treated for smoke inhalation after a hedge fire in Leeston today.
St John New Zealand spokesman Gerard Campbell said two patients were treated at the scene but not transported to hospital.
The fire started on Selwyn Lake Rd about 3pm on Thursday and crews arrived to find about 100m of a hedge up in flames.
The fire and it was contained in about 25 minutes. It was not yet known how the fire stated.
