Williams will perform on November 21-22, from 8pm at Te Whare o Rukutia, 20 Princes St.
In a statement, Williams said "as a comedian I’m a passionate defender of free speech".
"Unless that free speech is used to mildly criticise the obviously bad things that I’m saying, in which case it's cancel culture and now I’m the victim.
"I would also like to take this opportunity to say that it’s important to think about my mental health.” — Allied Media
