Fire at dental school

Firefighters rush to put out a small fire on the first floor of the University of Otago Faculty of Dentistry building on Saturday at 1.30pm.

Dunedin senior station officer Bob Calder said the fire occurred in a small steam-making appliance on the third floor.

It was contained in the machine and caused no damage to the building.
