Agents come to blows over apartment sale

Two Auckland real estate who came to blows over the sale of an Auckland property have been fined.

Hulan (Wendy) Feng of City Sales and Soon (Fiona) Lee of LJ Hooker Ponsonby were found guilty by the Real Estate Agents Disciplinary Tribunal of disgraceful conduct.

The New Zealand Herald reported that both agents were trying to sell an inner-city Auckland apartment and words were exchanged when Ms Geng arrived at the property while Ms Lee was showing a prospective buyer around.

A physical confrontation during which both women suffered injuries.

The tribunal said when that Ms Feng considered the apartment sold and that Ms Lee should therefore not be showing it to a prospective buyer.

It said the fight was witnessed by the apartment tenant and Ms Lee's client.

The tribunal fined each of thee women $600.
