A number of "distinctive items" were stolen from a Canterbury sex shop overnight.
Most of the items taken from the Bliss adult shop in Kaiapoi, 20km north of Christchurch, were erotic women's lingerie branded Elegant Moments, and a number of adult DVDs, Constable Mike Farrell said.
Police believed young people were behind the burglary.
Anyone offered the items for sale or viewing was asked to contact Kaiapoi Police.
