Market manager Sharlene Inch said all the vendors who traded at the community fete last summer had returned.
Five or six new stalls were "very probable".
"I'm looking at more fruit and vegetables and berries and hopefully cherries around Christmas."
She was also keen to have "chocolate and someone doing fruit tarts and pies".
Ms Inch said a flower provider and a fishmonger were also to be confirmed.
Bread by Cake Adventures, cheeses by the Gibbston Valley Cheese Company, plus fresh fruit and vegetables from Hawarden Organics were booked.
Loose tea would come courtesy of Tea Global Ltd, with coffee provided by Bean Around The World.
Wild hare, rabbit and venison cuts would be sold by Tarras Game Foods, while bacon and ham will be supplied by Waitaki Bacon and Ham.
Chutneys, pate and and baked goods would be sold by the Arrowtown General Store and jams, chutneys and jellies by Kingston Preserve.
Also on the stalls will be garlic by Kutash Organic Gardens, crepes by Balaton Crepes, honey by Glass Brothers Honey and herbs and potted plants by Oreti Nursery.
The market will be held on the scenic grounds of St Peter's Anglican Church in Queenstown each Saturday, apart from Boxing Day, until the end of March.
Stalls will be open from 9am to 12.30pm.
Ms Inch said the fete was becoming an official member of Farmers Markets New Zealand.
"I had a very positive meeting with Lakes Environmental three weeks ago and out-of-region vendors are going to be welcomed back to the market.
"The increase in fee deterred a lot of people from outside of the Southern Lakes last year.
The farmers' market is going to have an overall fee structure and I'll be managing where the produce is coming from, which is going to be Otago and Southland.
"If I get the commitment from vendors, it's highly likely we'll hold a pre-Christmas twilight market on Wednesday, December 23, from 4pm to 7pm, so locals will be able to get fresh produce for Christmas."
Additional vendors and fundraising clubs or societies were welcome to express their interest in filling a gap in the market by contacting Ms Inch.
The Queenstown Farmers Market will be held after St Peter's Church holds its annual parish market on Saturday, November 28.
