Police seek drug suspect in Central Otago

Wanaka police are seeking information from the public on the whereabouts of 49-year-old John Borrie Alexander, who is possibly in the Central Otago area.

He is wanted after failing to appear in the Greymouth District Court in March on drug-related charges.

Alexander is a 49-year-old Caucasian, about 175cm tall and of thin build.

He is believed to be driving a silver Honda CRV registration EAP657.

Police believe he has recently been living in the Lake Hawea area and may still be in Central Otago or travelling to the West Coast.

Anyone who comes into contact with Alexander or sees his vehicle is asked to contact police or provide information anonymously via
