Investigations are continuing into the serious assault of a 26-year-old man in Queenstown over the weekend.
The incident took place between two patrons about 3am on Saturday at the Subculture night club in Church St.
The victim, Jordan Kees Sinke, of Queenstown, remains in an induced coma in Dunedin Hospital after undergoing surgery.
Police have talked to several witnesses and are continuing with their inquiries.
"We have received some good information but we are still keen to talk with people who were in the bar around that time," Detective Lisa Watt, of Queenstown, said.
"This is a serious assault which could potentially have a life-changing impact for Jordan. We are very keen to hear from anyone who has any information that might help us in the inquiry."
