Fat Freddy's provides summer soundtrack

Kiwi music favourites Fat Freddy's Drop had Queenstowners grooving last night as they performed in the resort.

The band, known for hits like Wandering Eye, took to the stage at John Davies Oval as part of their nationwide summer tour.

They were well supported, with alt-rock darlings Unknown Mortal Orchestra and legendary British DJ Norman Jay kicking things off before the main event.

The gig marked the start of a massive week of music in the resort, which includes the popular Gibbston Valley Winery Summer Concert taking place on Saturday.
