About 200 people attended an Armistice Day remembrance service at the Dunedin Cenotaph in Queens Gardens yesterday.

The event at the Dunedin Cenotaph in Queens Gardens yesterday remembered  the end of World War 1  at the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918.

Reporter Shawn McAvinue was at the service.
