The New Zealand Combined Choir and Orchestra annual Teapot Valley summer school will showcase singers from around the world.
University of Otago voice senior lecturer Judy Bellingham will perform as an alto soloist.
"It's a summer school for choral singers and it's a wonderful community event," she said from Nelson on Monday.
"People return year after year for it from all over the world. There are singers from countries like Ireland, Germany and Denmark, aged from 12 to 85.
"What they achieve is something quite remarkable."
Other Otago singers performing at the concert are Dunedin tenors Ben Madden and Matt Wilson, Alexandra alto Victoria Martin and Alexandra sopranos Beth McArthur and Sarah Ballard.
English conductor and former King's Singer Brian Kay will lead the concert.
"It is a mixed programme of light and more serious music," Kay said.
The programme is: I Was Glad (Parry), Music For The Funeral Of Queen Mary (Purcell), Mass in C (Beethoven) and Music For Brass: Gloria (Rutter).
The concerts are at 7.30pm tomorrow in the Motueka Memorial Hall and 2pm on Saturday in the Nelson Cathedral.
