College fire treated as suspicious

A fire at Pakuranga College in Auckland last month is being treated as suspicious.

The fire, which was deliberately lit at about 2.50am on November 27, appeared to have been started by wood and other building materials that had been piled up against the outer wall.

Fire crews from Howick attended the scene. They found the side of a prefab building was on fire. The fire was extinguished quickly but still managed to cause damage to the outer wall of the prefab.

Otara police are seeking any witnesses to the incident.
