Supporters and hecklers, dressed in Victorian garb, are invited to take part in a suffrage march through Oamaru next month.
The march is to help pupils at Waitaki Girls High School celebrate their learning and heritage as part of the Kids Voting project.
The pupils will gather at St Paul's Church on Coquet St on November 7 at 1.45pm, march down Thames St and gather on the steps of the Waitaki District Council headquarters to hear "rousing speakers" discussing the enfranchisement of women.
